2028 BAPA Australian National Blackball Championships

BLACKBALL UNITES THE NATION

Australia’s blackball community comes together in Mildura, Victoria, for the 2028 BAPA Australian National Blackball Championships, held from 31 March – 8 April 2028 at the Mildura Sports Precinct.

For nine days, Mildura will become the home of Australian blackball, welcoming players, teams, officials, families and supporters from across the country.

The Nationals are the pinnacle of domestic blackball competition, bringing together Australia’s best players alongside emerging talent and competitors chasing their first taste of national success.

But the Championships are about more than winning. They are about community, friendship, competition and the shared passion for the game.

Every player has a journey — from their local club, through qualifying and selection, to the national stage. In 2028, that journey leads to Mildura.

BAPA is committed to growing blackball throughout Australia and creating opportunities for players of all ages, genders and abilities to participate, compete and achieve their goals.

Mildura will provide the perfect backdrop for this celebration of Australian blackball, while the Championships will bring visitors to the region and create a lasting impact for the local community.

When the final frame is played, new champions will be crowned and new memories created.
