The IPA are delighted to officially announce our second partner Country who will be taking part in the innovative IPA World League – IPA Australia.

Our partnership with the Blackball Australia Pool Association (BAPA) will see two of their highest-ranking players at the end of 2023 offered IPA Professional wild cards, and take part as a Professional player for the 2024 IPA Tour season, with the opportunity to take part in the most prestigious events on the pool calendar extended to both male and female players.

IPA Chairman Kevin Barton told us ”It is absolutely fantastic to have Australia join the IPA World League, and we look forward to welcoming the very best from down under joining the 2024 IPA Professional Tour season. We are also busy working with BAPA on other joint-projects which we will be announcing shortly. These are very encouraging times for the sport of pool”

Mark Cottingham, BAPA President added “We are very excited that BAPA will be part of the new IPA World League, and that we are now able to provide a unique opportunity to our Australian blackball players. IPA is the only recognised professional body for 8 ball pool worldwide, and it doesn’t get much better than being able to give two of our players the ability to play and compete against some of the best players in the World, and on the World stage”.
